Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have confirmed active tuberculosis (a positive microscope test and/or PCR test)
- Also have latent tuberculosis infection proven by a positive IGRA blood test
- Be willing to sign consent and return for follow-up visits for at least 6 months
- Have not started tuberculosis medicine more than 7 days ago
