Who can take part
- You have stage IV (metastatic) esophagus, junction, or stomach cancer (ESCC, EAC, GAC, or GEJAC) confirmed by tissue testing
- You are planning to start palliative systemic treatment as your first treatment (meaning medicines to treat the whole body)
- You are 18 years old or older
- You can sign informed consent for the study (questionnaires may require consent before treatment or within 4 weeks after starting, depending on your participation)
- You must not be receiving no systemic (whole-body) therapy for your cancer
