Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 85 years old
- Have never had surgery involving the GI (stomach/intestine) tract
- Feel well: no stomach or heartburn-type symptoms on the study questionnaires
- Not take medicines that change stomach acid or gut movement (like acid reducers or certain motility meds)
- Do not smoke, and avoid very heavy or daily alcohol use
- Not be pregnant or nursing
- BMI under 30 and no known hiatus hernia (a stomach-related hernia)
