Antibiotics to prevent infection during burn skin graft surgery

Who can take part

  • You’re 18 to 79 years old
  • You need at least one surgery to remove burned tissue and apply a skin graft
  • Your burn area is about 5% to 40% of your total body surface
  • You can give consent (or the study can include you under an emergency consent process)
  • You are not currently taking antibiotics at the time of surgery
  • You are not pregnant or breast-feeding
