Who can take part
- The man must have non-obstructive azoospermia (no sperm in the ejaculate due to sperm production issues, not a blockage).
- The man must have round spermatids, but no elongated spermatids or sperm cells, seen on TESE (testicular sperm extraction).
- The man must be at least 18 years old.
- The woman must be between over 18 and under 38 years old, or have AMH above 2 ng/mL (a hormone used to estimate egg supply).
- The man must NOT have obstructive azoospermia (a blockage problem).
- The man must NOT have an adequate number of elongated spermatids or sperm cells present.
