Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a specific cancer type: adenocarcinoma in the esophagus or the gastroesophageal junction.
  • Your cancer can be fully removed with surgery (it has not spread to distant organs).
  • Your tumor location must match types Siewert I or II, not type III.
  • You are between 18 and 90 years old.
  • Your overall health/activity level is good enough for study surgery (ECOG 0, 1, or 2).
  • You agree to participate by signing an informed consent form.
