  • You have liver cirrhosis due to hepatitis B infection
  • Your liver disease is in the “decompensated” stage (Child-Pugh B)
  • You must be able and willing to participate in the study
  • You do not have liver cancer or any other cancer
  • You do not have hepatitis C or HIV infections
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
