Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
- You must have liver failure caused by hepatitis B, with very high bilirubin (a measure of liver function) and poor blood clotting.
- You and your partner must agree to use effective birth control during the trial and for 6 months after.
- You cannot have other causes of liver failure, such as hepatitis A, C, or E, autoimmune liver disease, or blocked bile ducts.
- You must not have active bleeding in the stomach or esophagus, severe kidney problems, or certain heart or lung conditions.
