Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- Your acute interstitial nephritis diagnosis was confirmed by kidney biopsy
- Your blood tests show kidney function has worsened (higher creatinine) recently
- You can give informed consent and you are able to understand study requirements
- You have not taken steroid or other immune-suppressing medicines in the 3 months before your biopsy
- You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
