Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed by tissue biopsy with a NEN that is lung or gastrointestinal-pancreas in origin.
- Your NEN is locally advanced or metastatic (has spread or is advanced), and you are starting first treatment.
- You may be in a comparison group for people with non-cancer endocrine conditions like benign thyroid problems.
- You do not have severe long-term kidney disease (stage 4 or 5).
- You do not have major ongoing problems with breathing, heart, or liver/bile flow, based on symptoms and/or tests.
- You do not have another type of cancer besides NEN. (If you do, you likely cannot join.)
