Who can take part
- You have recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC)
- You are age 18 or older
- You are well enough to do usual daily activities (ECOG 0–2)
- Blood tests must meet targets (white blood cells, hemoglobin, and platelets) and kidney function must be at least a minimum level
- Your liver and bilirubin blood test results must be within allowed limits (with special thresholds if you have liver metastases)
- You must not be in another interventional treatment study and must be off other cancer medicines/experimental drugs for the required washout time
