Mindfulness program to reduce inflammation in heart disease

Who can take part

  • You feel stressed and/or have a stress score over 13 (moderate stress)
  • You can attend most sessions—fewer than 3 missed appointments in the past year
  • You have stable coronary disease with past heart event/procedure (more than 6 months ago) or high coronary calcium on a scan
  • Your heart symptoms are stable, with no current heart failure or serious rhythm problems
  • Your medicines have been stable for 90 days, and you are not taking a high-intensity statin for medical reasons
  • No major neurological or systemic inflammatory conditions, and you’re not on anti-inflammatory treatments
