Who can take part
- You have primary HCC confirmed by a specialist (surgeon/radiologist/oncologist) or by biopsy/pathology.
- Your cancer is a single liver tumor with the longest measurement between 5 and 10 cm.
- Your liver function is class A or B, and your day-to-day ability is good (ECOG 0–1).
- The tumor is at least 5 mm away from key nearby organs like the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, or bowel.
- You cannot safely get other treatments (like surgery or transplant) due to health reasons, and you are willing to not pursue those options for this study.
- Your blood counts are adequate (platelets ≥50, and white blood cells ≥1.5). If you have hepatitis B, you are on a medication like adefovir or entecavir; if you have hepatitis C, your virus level (HCV DNA) is negative.
