Who can take part
- You have hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), confirmed by biopsy or imaging
- You’re age 18–80
- Your cancer has 1–3 spots, and the spot size is at least 4 cm (total for multiple spots)
- You have enough healthy (non-cancer) liver tissue, with a measured volume of at least 800 cm3
- Your liver function tests fit Child-Pugh A (scores 5–6) or B (score 7–8), and your disease stage is BCLC A or B
- You must have had the chemoembolization and be unable or unwilling to have surgery or liver transplant
