Medical hypnosis to reduce anxiety during cancer radiotherapy

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have cancer that is localized or has spread (solid tumors).
  • You are about to start radiotherapy for the first time during this follow-up (no radiotherapy started before joining).
  • Your planned radiotherapy includes at least 15 sessions.
  • You score high on an anxiety questionnaire (STAI-Y score 46 or higher).
  • You can participate in French and you have no major hearing problem; you must be able to attend follow-ups and study procedures.
  • You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding.
  • You do not have a psychiatric condition that requires antidepressant or antipsychotic medication.
