Who can take part
- Your pancreatic tumor/mass is smaller than 2 cm on MRI (or CT if MRI can’t be used)
- A biopsy shows a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor, and Ki-67 is under 3% (a marker of slow growth)
- Your tumor is non-secretory, meaning it does not make hormones that cause symptoms
- Special ultrasound (high echo-endoscopy) shows uniform contrast uptake, and the area does not look near the main pancreas or bile ducts
- Your scan shows no FDG “hot spots” on PET (no higher sugar activity in the tumor)
