Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 85 years old
- Have colon cancer or a “high rectum” tumor (not low in the rectum)
- Cancer should be early enough that it has not spread (no distant metastasis) and lymph node status fits the trial’s staging
- Tumor size must be 5 cm or smaller
- Be well enough for surgery (ECOG 0–1 and ASA 1–3) and be able to sign consent
