Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are healthy enough for either a less extensive surgery (like a wedge resection) or a standard colon removal.
- Your colon cancer is at a very early stage (stage I), either a T1 or T2 tumor.
- The tumor is located in the colon, more than 25 centimeters from the anus or above the sigmoid (lower colon) curve.
- You do not have other active cancers needing treatment, Lynch syndrome, or a history of colorectal cancer in the last 5 years.
