Who can take part
- You have colon cancer that has spread (metastatic) and cannot be fully removed by surgery, confirmed by tissue testing
- You have not already received medicine for metastatic colon cancer (chemo, targeted therapy, or similar treatments)
- If you had chemo or radiation before (before the cancer spread), it must have been at least 12 months ago
- You have at least one measurable tumor spot on scans that has not been treated with radiation (unless that area clearly progressed after radiation)
- You can provide an old tumor tissue sample or agree to a new biopsy for tumor/genetic testing
- Your overall health score (ECOG) is 0 or 1, and your main organs (heart/lung/kidneys/liver) are working well enough for study treatment
