Who can take part
- You have a fracture in the base bone of finger 2 to 5
- Your fracture is not older than 2 weeks
- After the bone is put back in place, the alignment is within limits (not too crooked)
- The break is not within a joint with a large surface step (more than 1 mm)
- You do not have an open fracture or other finger injuries (like tendon/nerve damage) or other broken bones in the hand
- You are at least 18 years old and can follow follow-up visits and instructions
