Who can take part
- Be age 50 or older at the screening visit.
- Have a diagnosis that fits one of these: no cognitive impairment, amnestic Alzheimer’s, posterior cortical atrophy, or logopenic variant primary progressive aphasia.
- Agree to the study’s required brain-scan timing and other tests, and be able to complete all visits.
- At enrollment, your Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) must match: CDR 0 if you’re a control with no impairment, or CDR 0.5–1 if you have a mild dementia stage due to these conditions.
- Have no other brain disorder besides Alzheimer’s (for example, certain stroke-like findings on MRI).
- Be able to safely undergo MRI (no MRI contraindications) and feel able to fit in the scanner (not severely affected by claustrophobia or body-size limitations).
