Who can take part

  • You must be any age from newborn to 99 years old
  • You either have (or might have) COVID-19 or a similar respiratory virus, or you are not infected despite heavy exposure, or you are a close family member of someone in the study
  • If you are being enrolled as uninfected or as a relative, you must be able to agree to the study (informed consent)
  • You must be willing to do genetic testing
  • You must be willing to have your samples and data stored for future research
