Who can take part
- Your child must be older than 3 years and younger than 7 years
- At least one parent must have a body weight measure (BMI) of 25 or higher
- Your child should have normal weight or mild overweight (not severe obesity)
- Your child should not have a long-term medical condition that explains weight issues
- Your child should not already be on a special medical/therapy diet, and the family should be able to follow the study food plan
