Who can take part

  • Your child's BMI is in the 95th percentile or higher for their age and sex.
  • You are the parent or caregiver and are 18 years or older.
  • You are comfortable speaking and reading either English or Spanish.
  • Your child is a patient at a participating clinic.
  • You and your child can attend scheduled sessions for the next 12 months.
  • Your family is willing to make changes in eating and physical activity habits.
