Who can take part

  • You’re 18 or older and can sign written consent
  • You have urothelial cancer: bladder (T1 high grade to T4a) or upper urinary tract (renal pelvis/ureter) that is high-risk
  • After prior bladder/urinary-tract procedures, there is still remaining cancer or it’s seen on scans/endoscopy
  • Your scans show no spread to lymph nodes or other organs (N0 or M0) within 4 weeks
  • A doctor plans curative surgery (bladder tumor resection leading to/then radical surgery, or kidney/ureter surgery such as nephroureterectomy/distal ureter resection)
  • You can’t take or don’t plan to take neoadjuvant cisplatin chemotherapy, and you are well enough (ECOG 0–1) for study treatment
