Who can take part
- You have cavities, a crack, or a cosmetic need in back teeth (premolars or first/second molars).
- You need permanent (adult) teeth restorations—not baby teeth.
- You must have at least two fillings in the same group of back teeth (either premolars or molars) on one side or within that group.
- The study needs the same number of fillings using each technique you’re assigned.
- You should NOT have exposed tooth nerve (pulp), or a situation where nerve exposure is likely when removing decay.
