Who can take part
- Be age 18 to 65 years
- If you have HIV: have a confirmed untreated HIV-1 infection (no treatment yet)
- Be able and willing to attend all scheduled visits for the study
- Be able to provide blood, stool, and colon samples, which may be stored for 20 years
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding (or trying to be)
- Have screening lab results that are not severely abnormal (blood counts and liver tests)
