Hyperpolarized imaging for CNS lymphoma

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older with a life expectancy over 12 weeks.
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of CNS lymphoma (a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in the brain or spinal cord).
  • Your cancer must be measurable on an MRI scan with a contrast dye (gadolinium), with at least one spot of 1 cm or larger.
  • You must have adequate kidney function (creatinine clearance greater than 50 ml/min) within 3 weeks before the imaging scan.
  • You cannot have significant heart disease, like congestive heart failure (NYHA Grade II or worse).
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you could become pregnant, you need a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control.
