Who can take part
- You can sign consent and understand the study in written and spoken English
- You are at least 18 years old
- Your IgA nephropathy diagnosis was confirmed by kidney biopsy within the last 6 months
- Your urine protein is high enough (at least 0.5 g/day) and your kidney filtering is reduced but not too low (eGFR at least 30)
- You have not used ACE inhibitors or ARBs for IgAN in the past year (or never used them for IgAN)
- Your blood pressure is within limits at screening (systolic 100–150 and diastolic 60–100)
