Who can take part
- You must be between 2 and under 18 years old.
- You must have been diagnosed with IgA nephropathy by a kidney biopsy within the last 3 years.
- Your kidney function must be at least 30 mL/min/1.73m², which is a measure of how well your kidneys filter waste.
- You must have a high level of protein in your urine (at least 1 gram per gram of creatinine) despite taking a stable dose of an ACE inhibitor or ARB (blood pressure medicines that also protect the kidneys) for at least 4 months.
- You must weigh at least 10 kg (22 pounds).
- Your parent or guardian must agree to the study and you must be able to follow the study plan.
