Who can take part
- Be 7 to 14 years old at the start of the study (Visit 1)
- A parent (or legal guardian) signs consent, and your child agrees to participate if they can (assent)
- Have an ADHD diagnosis confirmed by an ADHD assessment (including symptom questionnaires and an interview)
- Have enough ADHD symptom severity at baseline (ADHD-RS total score at least 32, and a CGI score of 4 or higher)
- Have IQ testing showing full IQ above 80 (WISC-5)
- If your child used stimulant medicine before, they must have stopped because of side effects and wait at least 7 days before starting the study
