Who can take part
- Be older than 19 years
- Have a clinician diagnosis of MSA (multiple system atrophy)
- Have been told by a doctor (rehab specialist) that you have swallowing trouble
- Recent swallowing test (VFSS) within the last 3 months shows unsafe swallowing (Penetration-Aspiration Scale score of 2 or higher)
- Have no moderate-to-severe thinking/memory problems (Mini-Mental State Exam score 19 or higher)
- No other medical conditions or structural problems that could also explain or affect swallowing, and you can participate in the study
