ctDNA-guided booster treatment after chemo for triple-negative breast cancer

This trial uses a blood test called ctDNA to see who is at higher risk after surgery and standard chemotherapy for triple-negative breast cancer. If your ctDNA test is positive, you may receive an extra “boost” treatment to help reduce the chance the cancer returns.

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old when you sign up.
  • You have stage II or III triple-negative breast cancer (a specific breast cancer subtype based on hormone and HER2 test results).
  • Your blood ctDNA test is positive after curative surgery and/or after adjuvant chemotherapy.
  • You can do cancer-day-to-day activities at a normal level (ECOG 0–2).
  • You agree to give blood samples for ctDNA testing every 3 months for up to 5 years.
  • You agree to follow standard additional treatments if recommended, like adjuvant chemotherapy and (if indicated) radiation.
