3D foot scan after reconstructive ankle and foot surgery

This trial tests whether a detailed 3D foot model (made from measurements/scans) can better predict outcomes after certain reconstructive ankle and foot surgeries. You may be able to join if you’re already scheduled for one of these surgeries and can meet walking and measurement requirements.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and planned for reconstructive ankle/foot surgery
- Your surgery is for flatfoot (including flatfoot with heel tilt) or posterior tibial tendon problems
- Or your surgery involves fusing or replacing joints (tibiotalar, subtalar, Chopart, or triple/pantalar fusion)
- You can walk on your own (or with usual help) and can walk at least 100 meters
- Your leg lengths are within 3 centimeters of each other
- Your foot position is not extremely turned in or out, and your BMI is not above 27.5 (or will be reviewed for scan accuracy)
