Who can take part

  • You have prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy as adenocarcinoma
  • Your prostate cancer is considered intermediate- or high-risk
  • Staging scans show no spread to lymph nodes or distant organs (N0 and M0)
  • Your body function score (ECOG) is 0 to 2
  • Your prostate symptom score (IPSS) is 19 or less (alpha-blockers are allowed)
  • Your PSA level has not been higher than 20 ng/mL
