Who can take part
- You are a woman diagnosed with PCOS and you have not started PCOS treatment yet (untreated).
- You are planning to have a PCOS-related intervention soon, or your care team has planned it for you.
- If you do not have PCOS, you would be eligible for the comparison group by visiting a gynecology clinic.
- You do not have certain hormone/thyroid conditions (like thyroid disease, Cushing’s syndrome, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, hyperprolactinemia, or an androgen-secreting tumor).
- You do not have premature ovarian failure or any active cancer.
- In the last week, you have not used antibiotics, probiotics, hormonal medicines, vaginal medicines, or laxatives, and you do not have vaginitis or pelvic inflammatory disease.
