Who can take part
- You have an implant with a deep gum pocket of at least 6 mm
- When the dentist checks with a probe, you have bleeding and/or pus in at least 3 spots around that implant
- An X-ray shows bone loss of at least 2 mm around the implant
- Your X-ray should not show bone loss that is 80% or more of the implant length
- You don’t have a medical problem that prevents non-surgical or surgical treatment
- The implant has been in use for less than 1 year
