Who can take part
- You must be an astronaut (per NASA rules) or a healthy volunteer matched by age, sex, and education.
- You must be able to complete the MRI testing as required.
- No MRI safety issues like a pacemaker/defibrillator or other non-removable metal in your body.
- You cannot be pregnant, or possibly pregnant.
- No history of certain prior brain or heart surgeries.
- You must be able to safely undergo MRI even if you have hearing issues (for example, severe hearing loss) or certain implanted devices.
