Who can take part
- You can sign consent before any study screening, and you’re 18–75 years old
- Your cancer is head and neck squamous cell cancer from the mouth/throat area, confirmed by lab testing
- Your cancer has returned and/or spread, and you cannot do curative local treatment (like surgery or full-dose radiation to try to wipe it out)
- There is at least one measurable tumor spot on scans, and you have tumor tissue available to test PD-L1
- Your general health is good enough (ECOG 0–1), and your organs work well (blood counts, liver, kidneys, and heart function)
- You have not had prior immune checkpoint medicines (like anti–PD-1/PD-L1 or CTLA-4) or prior study-triggering treatments recently
