Who can take part
- You are female, age 18 to 45
- You had gestational diabetes in your most recent pregnancy, and you are 6 months to 10 years postpartum
- Your BMI is 25 or higher (in the overweight range)
- You must not plan pregnancy during the study, and you use reliable birth control (or have had tubal ligation)
- Your blood sugar test shows “prediabetes range” results (impaired fasting or impaired glucose tolerance)
- You can follow study rules like keeping your usual activity level and eating a standardized diet before testing
