Who can take part
- You are an adult (older than 18).
- You are scheduled to have ureteroscopy with laser stone breaking.
- Your kidney stone(s) are not blocking urine and total size is 2 cm or smaller.
- You are not pregnant.
- You do not have a kidney drainage tube (nephrostomy) in place.
- Your kidney shape is normal (no major kidney anatomy problems), and your swelling (hydronephrosis) isn’t so severe that it would make stone removal hard.
