This study compares two types of laser treatments used during a minimally invasive procedure to break up kidney stones. You would be randomly assigned to receive one of the two lasers to help doctors understand which works better for stone removal.

Who can take part
- Have a single kidney stone between 7–20 mm in size, or multiple stones that add up to 7–20 mm total
- Be 18 years or older and able to consent to the study
- Be healthy enough to safely undergo flexible ureteroscopy (a camera-guided procedure in the kidney)
- Not have stones currently in the ureter (the tube between kidney and bladder)
- Not be pregnant or have untreated urinary tract infections
- Not have had prior radiation to the abdomen/pelvis or prior kidney/ureteral surgery on the side being treated
