Who can take part

  • You are having (planned or done) outpatient orthopedic surgery using local or regional anesthesia, even if it’s an emergency.
  • You must understand the study and sign written consent before any study activities.
  • You should not have significant vision problems that would prevent using the VR.
  • You should not have significant hearing impairment (deaf) that would prevent you from following instructions.
  • You must be able to physically and mentally tolerate and use virtual reality during the procedure and follow study instructions.
