Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older
- You have type 2 diabetes (T2DM)
- Your kidney function test (eGFR) is above 30
- Your urine shows heavy protein leakage (high uACR or 24-hour urine albumin) on more than one check
- You can give written informed consent and understand the study information
- You do not have a previous kidney transplant or past kidney biopsy
