Who can take part

  • Your neurologist must confirm you have the chronic form of a specific headache type called trigeminal autonomic cephalgia
  • You must have tried and not improved with at least 3 standard headache prevention medications or treatments
  • You must have stable, controlled mental health—no uncontrolled or untreated psychiatric condition
  • Your doctor must say surgery is medically safe for you (no surgical contraindications)
  • You must agree and give consent to have surgery
  • You must be able to communicate in English
