Who can take part
- You have type 2 diabetes (T2DM).
- You meet the World Health Organization diagnosis criteria for type 2 diabetes (2006).
- You do not have a history of coronary artery disease (CAD) or symptoms suggestive of it.
- You do not have known or suspected valve heart disease.
- You do not have rhythm problems (irregular heartbeats) or cardiomyopathy (heart muscle disease).
- You do not have congenital heart disease, symptomatic heart failure, or significant lung (pulmonary) disease.
