Exercise program to improve thinking and brain blood flow in heart failure

Who can take part

  • You are age 50 or older
  • Your chronic heart failure has been stable for at least 2 months on your usual medications
  • You can take part in normal everyday activity (no, mild, or moderate limits—about NYHA I to III)
  • You are able to do both the mental and the physical training sessions
  • You have not had a major heart/brain event (hospitalization/emergency for worsening heart failure, heart attack, stroke, or mini-stroke) in the last month
