Who can take part
- You have an autism (ASD) diagnosis confirmed by your clinician, and your IQ is 70 or higher
- You can speak English and can fully understand and freely agree to the study (consent)
- Your depression is at a certain level and stays that way for about 2 weeks before starting (BDI-II 21+)
- Your symptoms and daily functioning are low enough for the study team for about 2 weeks at the start
- Your medical and mental health care has been stable for 30 days (no medication dose changes or new therapies)
- You have no major exclusions like recent substance use problems, certain medical/brain conditions, or prior rTMS
