This study looks at whether a bio-dissolving (self-absorbing) gel improves how well the wrist flexor tendons glide after surgery for a distal radius fracture. You may be randomly assigned to use the gel or not, and the researchers will measure wrist tendon and clinical outcomes to see if it helps.

Who can take part
- You have a closed (not open) distal radius fracture that was treated with open surgery (plates on the palm side) for repair.
- You can talk with the study team in English or another language with an interpreter.
- Your injury was not an open wound and did not involve an open fracture.
- No serious additional injury is present in your other (opposite) wrist.
- You have not previously had surgery to repair flexor tendons in either hand or wrist.
- You did not receive a special wrist stabilization device (like a bridge plate or external fixator) that would limit wrist motion after surgery.
