Who can take part

  • Baby is less than 8 days old or has already joined one related BLOOM study before
  • Baby was born at 36 weeks 6 days or earlier (very premature)
  • Parent/guardian is at least 16 years old and can sign consent
  • Parent/guardian can speak and understand English and agrees to follow study visits
  • If baby is enrolled within 8 days of birth, you live in the Calgary area (Calgary Metropolitan Region)
